In 2010 ATYS-CO Control Engineering Ltd. is part of the much diversified market and professional circles of industrial automation for the 15th year already. Our Company was founded in 1995 (with 30 people in total) managed by a few experienced professionals who laid down at that time already their fundamental strategic ideas and main activity areas essential to achieve future goals. In the beginning of 1996 the management of ATYS-CO assessed that a key element of successful professional development and staying on the market is the introduction of the ISO 9001 compatible quality management system. The company succeeded to extend the system to all activities and later to develop it further.

In October 2009 an Emergency Underground Gas Storage was built in the region of the Szeged Crude Oil and Natural Gas Drilling Facilities (in Algyő) in order to increase the security and capacity of domestic gas supply.  Natural gas storage was implemented in the gas cap of the Szőreg-1 oil field with a 1.2 billion Nm3 strategic and 0.7 billion Nm3 commercial purpose mobile gas inventory. The peak capacity of the gas storage is 25 million Nm3/d, injection period is 150 days.
